Kenwood's Performance Series subwoofers deliver maximum bass for your buck. A diamond array pattern reinforces the heavy-duty polypropylene cones which are mated to a durable, tough foam urethane to take the abuse from maximum excursion transients. The motor structure features a dual ventilation system to keep the voice coil cool.
Kenwood's 12" KFC-W12PS subwoofer is designed for optimal use in 1.25 cubic foot sealed enclosures, but can be used in a sealed enclosure up to 1.75 cubic foot for deep bass or a sealed 0.75 cubic foot enclosures for tight bass. Ported enclosures of 1 to 2 cubic feet are fine as well.
