The American Audio VMS4.1 is a feature-rich 4-channel MIDI controller that comes bundled with Virtual DJ LE software. The VMS4.1 features four MIDILOG™ channels compatible with MIDI software (w/mapping or "Learn" feature) or analog inputs - such as CD players, turntables, etc. In addition, there are two combination XLR - 1/4" microphone inputs, balanced XLR outputs, a 4 in/4 out sound card built-in, and the unit is built with American Audio’s exclusive "DSP D-Core" audio engine inside for outstanding audio clarity.
Other features include 3-band EQ on each channel (with rotary kills), 62 total assignable MIDI buttons (50 of which are LED illuminated), 34 assignable rotary controls plus 4 assignable rotary encoders, 5 assignable linear fader controls, assignable touch strips and mouse pad, and dual touch-sensitive turntable scratch controllers. The hot-swappable VCA crossfader is Q-Start compatible, assignable and reversible, and also features adjustable curve settings. It is Innofader compatible (Innofader not included). All channel faders are also user-replaceable. All audio control faders, knobs, switches and buttons are smoothed to eliminate popping, wiper noise, and zipper noise.
