Peavey PV 14 BT 14-Channel Mixer with Effects USB and Bluetooth
The PV 14 BT mixer from Peavey puts prodigious power in the palm of your hand. You get 8 channels with combination XLR/TRS jacks, one stereo channel with 1/4" L+R or 3.5 mm for phone/tablet connection, another dedicated media channel with Bluetooth or USB MP3, digital effects, EQ including Peavey's MidMorph technology, stereo USB in/out, and more.
Never before have so many great features been stuffed into such a small mixer. The new PV 14 BT from Peavey builds upon the astounding success of its namesake predecessor, adding tons of additional functionality -- including Bluetooth streaming -- without sacrificing the sound quality and reliability which has become synonymous with the Peavey name.
The PV 14 BT includes some key features you will not find in competitors' mixers of this kind. There is available Kosmos-C audio enhancement, which is inserted after the main level control, before the main and USB outputs. This feature can be auditioned and tweaked to perfection using its Enable switch. You also get high quality digital effects which include reverb, delay, and chorus, for channels one through eight -- with a footswitch input so you can disengage the effects for between-song banter! (Footswitch sold separately, Parts Express # 248-9492) The PV 14 BT has direct outputs on these same channels, for easy connection to a DAW interface or monitor system. And, all the new PV Series mixers include a tablet cradle to hold your smart device for display and easy access.
Peavey's reference-quality Silencerâ„¢ preamps are at the heart of this unit, built into the eight mono channels. Channels one through four have simple one-knob compression for sweetening up the vocals or instruments. Channel eight also features a Peavey exclusive high impedance input and pre-shape EQ specifically tailored for guitars, which can be engaged or bypassed as your situation warrants. 48V phantom power is available for the mono channels, and they include 3-band EQ (bypassable) with Peavey's MidMorph midrange EQ to make vocals and instruments really shine in the mix.
Channel nine/ten is a stereo channel for analog media, with 1/4" L+R, stereo RCA, or a 3.5 mm stereo input. Ideal for stereo instruments such as keyboards or samplers, this channel is perfect for playing pre-recorded material from your smartphone, laptop, tablet, iPod, iPad, or other personal media device. This channel also features 3-band EQ.
Channel eleven/twelve is a dedicated digital media channel with Bluetooth streaming, a USB MP3 player, or USB input from your DAW or computer, which can all be swapped at the flip of a switch, so you can alternate between a Bluetooth source, a USB thumb drive, and/or prerecorded material from your laptop.
Channel thirteen/fourteen is a stereo channel with 1/4" L+R inputs. If only one jack is used, it behaves as a mono channel. If both jacks are used, it responds as a stereo channel. This is handy as another AUX input, and can also be used as an effects return channel for outboard processing.
All this goodness is built into a rugged metal case, using high quality components to ensure long service life, even under rigorous and frequent use. And all the new PV Series mixers include a free copy of Peavey's REAPER recording software (demo), so you can be up and running, recording your masterpieces and sounding like a pro, in no time flat.
